SpacerYou would like to know a little bit about myself? Hum... I don't like to talk much about me, but here it goes!

SpacerOk, so you know my name's Helm.

SpacerI have recently finished my degree in Architecture, but my dream is to become a cartoonist one day in the future. My passion on comics started with the «Uncanny X-Men», where I found the man that taught me that there's actually someone behind comic books - one of my favourite artist, Andy Kubert.

SpacerNowadays my taste covers a little bit of everything, from western comics to manga. Some of my favourite artists are Alexander Malleev, Enki Bilal and Nobuhiro Watsuki.

SpacerWhere I get inspiration? Well, basically on my favourite character, Gambit. I'm completely obsessed with this cajun.

SpacerMy style? Well, if I've got one, I like to call it «jabardice». Very large strokes, no definition at all (I tend to constantly put my hands on the canvas...). Maybe you could call it realistic expressionism... My drawing teacher used to tell me I'm too sentimental when I paint (like I'm constantly on rage, anger or simple madness when I have a brush in my hands). He said I have no profile for architecture... In my faculty they defended architects should be cold hearted... Poor boys! I want to believe the best architect is the one with a big passionate heart, because the truth is we exist to serve humanity.

SpacerMy favourite writers... Well, besides Jink, you have Yukio Mishima, Dostoievsky and Oscar Wilde. I love classical writing, but I also have expanded my library to some recent literature too (yes, I love comics *and* heavy literature).

SpacerHobbies? Have no time for that! (^_^)

SpacerSince the year I left my homeland to become an Erasmus student in Finland, I did not have that much time to draw. I have spent the two immediate following years in Germany doing two hard practical trainings, so things did not get better. Yet, I had some of the most wonderful experiences and contacts with different cultures that will certainly influence my style as soon as I start drawing!

SpacerIntercultural relationships are wonderful life teachings! (^_^)

SpacerAnd because I am never tired of traveling, I am now looking for a job in Switzerland. I am full of work, but still, I manage to draw once and a while and even start new projects.
